Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Hockey Machine (“the Service”) at hockeymachine.net, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description

Hockey Machine provides AI-generated scouting reports, archetype tags, and draft analysis for the NHL Draft. All content is generated by artificial intelligence and is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. It is not professional hockey scouting advice.

3. AI Disclaimer

Scouting reports, archetype tags, Best Fit NHL Teams analysis, and any other AI-generated content on this Service are created by automated systems and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Hockey Machine makes no warranty about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. The Service is not affiliated with the NHL, NHL Central Scouting, or any NHL team.

4. Pro Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the Customer Portal accessible from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. After the trial, your card on file will be charged the applicable monthly rate (USD or CAD as selected at checkout).

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you have an issue with a charge, contact us at hello@hockeymachine.net and we will work to resolve it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Service in bulk
• Reproduce or republish AI-generated content without attribution
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent Pro access controls
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

7. Intellectual Property

The Hockey Machine name, logo, design, and AI-generated content are owned by Hockey Machine. NHL team names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Hockey Machine is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHL.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hockey Machine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
